Anna Smith finished 4th out of a field of 18 in the u20 1500m at the England Championships in Bedford on Saturday.
As a 15 year old she was up to 4 years younger than everyone else in the race, and her time of 4.23.11 was yet another Commonwealth Youth Games qualifying time.
She was beaten only by GB athletes running at a European level. Just to put this in perspective, Anna is now ranked 16th in the IAAF u18 WORLD rankings for 1500m.
